The process of obtaining Social Security Disability benefits is a long and sometimes frustrating process. It is critical to follow every step including answering letters and submitting documents.
Because many claimants are denied at the initial level, filing appeals and requesting a hearing are normal steps in the disability process. Each of these has deadlines that must be met.
